Regional Sales Manager – Assureon®

We’re searching for a< strong>Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for Assureon—a highly technical, detail-oriented, passionate evangelist ready to represent one of Nexsan’s most differentiated solutions. This is a high-impact, high-visibility, collaborative overlay role supporting all Regional Sales Managers, channel partners, integrators, and strategic OEMs.
What You’ll Do
Sales Leadership & Business Growth
- Own Assureon sales strategy and execution across your region while serving as a subject matter expert for teams worldwide.
- ODrive new logo acquisition—this role requires a true hunter mindset.
- OManage and grow a strong pipeline of enterprise opportunities across government, healthcare, financial services, law enforcement, education, and other regulated industries.
- OSupport an established base of renewals and existing customers to maximize retention and expansion.
- OIdentify, qualify, and develop OEM and technology alliance opportunities.
Channel-Driven Go-to-Market
- Operate in a 100% channel model—support, enable, and educate VARs, integrators, and distributors.
- Deliver compelling partner trainings, technical workshops, and deal support to drive new Assureon business through the channel.
- Work jointly with partner sellers and engineers to build demand and close opportunities.
Technical Expertise & Evangelism
- Present the unique advantages of Assureon immutability, including private blockchain chain-of-custody, WORM retention, file-fingerprinting, and multi-site integrity safeguards.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to CISOs, IT Directors, compliance officers, and storage architects.
- Deliver high-energy presentations at conferences, webinars, partner events, and executive briefings.
- Translate complex security and compliance requirements—CJIS, HIPAA, SEC 17a-4, GDPR, FOIPPA, IAEA, and more—into compelling Assureon value.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with a cross-functional team to shape go-to-market strategies.
- Provide voice-of-customer feedback to drive enhancements that maintain Assureon’s leadership position in immutable storage.

- Highly technical, with the ability to dive deep into architecture, compliance, retention policies, backup strategies, and security models.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with exceptional follow-through.
- A strong hunter with a proven track record developing enterprise accounts and new business.
- Experienced working in a 100% channel ecosystem—comfortable empowering partners and providing assistance as needed.
- A collaborator who thrives in a fast-moving, global sales organization.
- Comfortable with 25–50% travel as required for customer meetings, channel events, and industry conferences (primarily US).
- Motivated by growth, challenge, and the chance to represent a truly differentiated technology.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of enterprise storage, security, or data protection sales experience.
- Demonstrated success selling into regulated industries (government, healthcare, financial services, law enforcement, etc.).
- Strong understanding of ransomware protection, immutable storage, regulatory compliance, and/or long-term archival solutions.
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a global overlay role.
