Regional Sales Manager

Overview

Nexsan, an Imation company, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven storage sales professional who has a consistent track record of exceeding quota in a fast paced and competitive sales environment.

Qualified professionals will have extensive storage sales experience, strong familiarity with storage technology and will demonstrate a drive to succeed. As the Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible to recruit and develop partners, contractors, systems integrators and end users.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed assigned quarterly quota, grow the territory install base and revenue.
  • Recruit, onboard and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with appropriate VARS and systems integrators.
  • Perform technical sales presentations for customers and partners.
  • Secure new name logo accounts by leveraging Nexsan resources, regional partners and ecosystems partners.
  • Execute territory coverage and account strategies to insure success in the region on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Manage all Nexsan storage opportunities while maintaining accurate forecasting and communication with management.
  • Create and manage a list of target prospects and customers for assigned territory.
  • Leverage resources for analysis and prioritization of opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related.
  • 5+ years’ experience in storage sales, both direct and through channel partners.
  • Strong knowledge of SAN and NAS.
  • Proven ability to recruit and develop channel partners.
  • Proven ability to consistently close sales.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to drive direct sales opportunities.
  • Strong presentation and collaboration skills and a passion for winning with strong professionalism, integrity and team interaction.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota while maintaining customer loyalty and required product margins.
  • Executive level oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analysis, positioning and qualification skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills.
  • Travel is required at regular intervals and occasionally non-regular intervals for the purposes of supporting existing relationships, creating new relationships and participating in sales calls.
  • Large company experience as well as smaller start-up experience preferred.
