Company To Unveil InfiniSAN Network Storage Solutions

October 9, 2001 -- Nexsan Technologies today announced that its Senior Executive Vice President, Diamond Lauffin, will be presenting at the fourth-annual Fibre Channel Technologies Conference, October 16-18, at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, California.

Lauffin will address the topic of "Digital Paper" as part of Session 105 scheduled to begin at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16. The presentation will be part of the RAID Systems seminar, chaired by James Porter, President of DISK/TREND.

According to Lauffin, "In the new paradigm shift, the cost of data storage has been tremendously reduced by the usage of correct cost ATA devices. Delivering high performance along with unsurpassed reliability, these simple, easy-to-use systems have made technologies and concepts, such as disk-to-disk backup, an affordable reality for many companies."

Prior to joining Nexsan, Lauffin spent seven years at Qualstar Corporation responsible for worldwide sales and technical support of all customer-related operations. He has over 20 years of experience in the data storage industry, previously holding positions at Linear Engineering, Saki Magnetics, Novation and Haba Systems.

In addition to Lauffin's presentation, Nexsan is scheduled to unveil its InifiniSANT network storage solutions. The InfiniSAN systems incorporate enterprise-class features and performance previously unavailable in their price range. Nexsan will display its InfiniSAN D2D disk-to-disk backup storage solution along with its ATAboy and Fibre Channel InfiniSAN units.
