Nexsan Expands Executive Team with Two Industry Veterans
New execs join rapidly growing storage solutions company
WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., June 9, 2004 - Nexsan Technologies, the leader in innovative storage solutions, today announced the hiring of industry veterans Frank Patterson as Vice President of Global Supply Chain and Steve Freeman as Director of Engineering, both newly created positions at Nexsan. The two bring nearly 45 years of combined experience in the high-tech industry.

Patterson comes to Nexsan after four years at Cisco Systems where he served as the company's Senior Director of Global Semiconductor Commodity Management. In this position, Patterson was responsible for optimizing the supply chain, developing strategies for component acquisitions and forging relationships with suppliers. He previously held similar positions at Nortel Networks, Johnson and Johnson and Eli Lilly and Company. Patterson earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and an MBA from Concordia University. Patterson reports to Boddy.
Freeman has experience in managing engineering teams after beginning his career as a software engineer. He has run development engineers, test groups, documentation groups and support groups for a variety of high-tech companies in the U.K. and the U.S., including stints at Madge Networks, Ahead Communications, General DataComm, Crosfield Electronics and others. Freeman received a bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Leeds University. He is also a holder of eight patents in both Europe and the U.S. in image processing software techniques. Freeman reports to Nexsan CTO Gary Watson.
Patterson and Freeman will help support the development and distribution of Nexsan's InfiniSANT line of disk-based storage solutions, which delivers the latest in form and function.
