Nexsan to Open SAN and Fibre Technology Lab at Tech Center in San Diego
March 21, 2001 --Los Angeles--Nexsan Technologies, a manufacturer of advanced data storage systems, today announced the opening of a new advanced design and compatibility SAN Laboratory at its Technology Center in San Diego.
The compatibility and advanced design Lab will include equipment from all major Fibre channel connectivity companies such as Brocade, Vixel, Gadzooks, Qlogic, JNI, Adaptec, along with popular servers such as Dell, Compaq, Sun, HP and other planned hardware participants. The Lab will be able to provide hardware and software compatibility under various situations, but all performances will be benchmarked and published to Nexsan partners. In addition to compatibility testing, the lab will enable Nexsan engineers to provide advance design work for future products. The Technology center is under the direction of Rik Mussman, Vice President, Technical Services and Menashe Nuriel, General Manager, Technical Services.
