ATA Customers Qualify for Major Discounts to Accelerate Upgrades to Higher-Density, More Energy Efficient SATA Product Line

Derby, UK---(January 15, 2008) - Accelerating its drive to maintain sustained price leadership, Nexsan, a leader in energy saving storage solutions, today announced ‘The Nexsan 20/20 ATA Trade-in Programme ,' providing qualified existing customers with a 45% discount on select new SATA-based products.

Along with offering substantial discounts to customers, the Nexsan 20/20 ATA Trade-in Programme is structured to also protect sales margins for the company's value added resellers (VARs). 

Qualifying customers can trade in a legacy Nexsan ATA-based product for a 45% discount off MSRP for a new SATABoy or SATABeast, the award-winning Nexsan SATA-based storage systems that employ AutoMAID (Automatic Massive Array of Idle Disks) technology.  AutoMAID allows the company's extreme-density storage systems to power down disk drives at intervals to a completely idle state to conserve energy yet provide near-instantaneous access to data.  This technology provides up to 75% energy savings.  The Nexsan SATABoy and SATABeast also feature high density configurations of up to 42TB in a 4U chassis and iSCSI and 4GB Fibre Channel connectivity.
